Bike no more...really
We escaped death.
It was something i think i won't forget for the rest of my life.
This afternoon qil and me crashed on the road. It was raining. His bike skidded across the white line and we both fell. It was in the middle of the road.
The bike landed on qil's right leg. It all happened in a second. All i remembered was my head(luckily there's a helmet on) and arms hit a car which stopped right beside us. Phew! Mind you, it's right after the expressway(BKE exit into Bukit Panjang) and you would have expect all the cars to be speeding there. Luckily again, all the vehicles were moving slowly. I wouldn't want to imagine if those cars were moving real fast while we're bothflat on the floor.
After the crash qil lay motionless on the road. I was damn panic. I thought something really bad happened to him.But i quickly stood up and saw his legs shaking. He was holding his legs in pain and i carried him to safety. Luckily he was alright. Then i quickly pushed his bike to the side, with help of some strangers who stopped their cars just to help us. I'm really grateful to them.
After everything had cleared, his bike was in a bad state. His rear mirror broke and the front had kinda movedout of position. Those gona need some repairs. But not to worry, we're still in a good shape.
I can't help but feel guilty for everything. It wouldn't have happened if i didn't ask a favour from qil. He would have gone home safely. I'm so sorry bro.
Overall it just reminds me of those childhood years when i fell from my bicycle. It was a minor one. Luckily.

Shagged.
Imagine this:
You worked 6 days straight from 7 to 12 every night.
And in the morning you got school from 8 to 5 every weekday.
Right after school you have to rush to workl.
Practically only 4 hours of sleep.
And when you're awake, no rest at all.
What a day yesterday was.
To start off, i was unbelievably punctual for everything. I was punctual for school, exactly 830am when my ass first laid its precious on the chair in class. And i was also damn early for work, 40 minutes early in fact. Surprising.
Great. When i thought i had something to be happy and smile about after achieving punctuality(which is a great achievement for me) , the day ends tragically. Not that tragic to the extent of someone passed away. But its all thanks to work. Last night was exceptionally busy. Customers keep coming in and and out(oops,sounds wrong!), leaving junks of trash plus they ordered food and drinks like no tomorrow, so we kept rushing in and out of the kitchen to serve those damn food. And adding salt to the wound, we were a man short. So me, Hao-Ge, Paul and Jacky worked our guts out, like dog very hungry,you know? Is MSQ becoming Raffles? I really hope it won't. Coz' late night crowd is just not MSQ. And not forgetting, last night was month-end so had to count all the stupid stocks and perpetual. Its just a burden to do closing and complete month-end at the same time. Looking back, i don't want to do it again.
Completely shagged man. Need a massage.
